THE MARINADE 50gm curd 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp garlic powder and pepper to taste 2 leg pieces
THE CRISY COATING 20gm Plain unflavoured cornflakes 1 tbsp Maida 1 tbsp herb mix ( leftover oregano from pizza works too) 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional) 1/2 tsp chilli powder 1/2 tsp salt1 tsp oil to spray
Whip the curd with the marinade ingredients into a smooth consistency.
Making cuts in the chicken and marinate it in the curd mix for atleast mins. Ideally upto mins in a refrigerator.
Mix all the coating ingredients in a wide flat bottomed bowl.
Crush the cornflakes and mix all the dry ingredients into it .
Press the chicken into the cornflakes mixture. Put more on top with your dry hand ensuring you coat the chicken nicely.
Place the chicken on a lined baking sheet.
Repeat till all pieces are well coated .
Spray the chicken with a little oil .
Pre-heat the oven to C .
Place the chicken in the middle rack and bake for to mins or till it turns light brown . Serve with a spicy sauce and my baked fries
