Beet Root : 125 g
Milk : 75 ml
Any artificial sweetener : 1 tbsp
Cardamom : 2-3 crushed
Cashew Nuts : 5 g
Ghee : 15 g
Peel and grate the beetroots.
In a deep thick bottomed pan, add half of the taken ghee, grated beetroot and saute for - minutes in low to medium flame.
Add milk and bring the whole mixture to boil and then simmer
Keep on stirring at intervals till the beetroot cooks in milk.
Once the milk has reduced to half, add the remaining ghee and artificial sweetener to the halwa mixture
Stir well and cook in low flame.
Add cardamom powder and cashews. Simmer till the milk is evaporated. Switch off the burner.
The halwa is ready to be served. You can also refrigerate it for - minutes before serving.
