50 gm Rice ( any fragrant variety )
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1 Tomato
1 tsp 3G paste
1 inch Cinnamon
1 Bay Leaf
A spoonful of chopped onions
2 gm oil
Dry spices ( Turmeric, red chilli, coriander and garam masala?

β Wash and soak chana dal for hour. β Wash & keep rice aside. β Heat oil in a cooker and add cinnamon & bay leaf . β Once it turns aromatic add in the onions and cumin seeds together. β Once the onion turns pink add in the soaked dal and fry over high heat for a minute. β Add finely chopped tomatoes and G paste ,a pinch of salt just enough for the dal and saute over medium heat. β Cover the lid and cook till the dal is half done. β Add in turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder and cook for mins. β Add a pinch of garam masala and saute. β Add rice and ml water ( again depends upon the hardness of water and the variety of rice ) β Add salt ad per taste . cover the lid and pressure cook for whistles or until tge rice soft. Once done drizzle some ghee an top and sprinkle some coriander leaves. I ran out of it so haven't used.
