Butter 7gms
Onion 70gms
tomato 100gms
potato 50gms
carrot 20gms
capsicum 20gms
ginger garlic paste 1teaspoon
pav bhaji masala 2tablespoons
chilli powder 1 teaspoon
salt as per taste
lemon half wedge
Soak soya granules and keep aside. Boil potato and carrot and keep aside.
In a pan or kadai, melt butter. Finely chop half onion and fry
Add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell goes away
Add finely chopped tomato and add little salt. cook covered until tomatoes turn mushy
Remove lid and fry the mixture until oil separates
Add finely chopped capsicum, little water and cook until capsicum is soft.
Add mashed potato and carrot. Mix well
Add squeezed soya granules, water, salt, pav bhaji masala and chilli powder. Mix well and bring to boil
Mash everything with back of ladle or masher. Switch off the flame and mix lemon juice
Half the pav buns and grill for min each side.
Serve pav bhaji hot with remaining onions, other half of lemon wedge
