Moong dal: 40 gm
Ginger-garlic paste: 10 gm
Turmeric powder: 3 gm
Coriander powder: 3 gm
Cumin powder: 3 gm
Onion: 40 gm
Bay leaf: 1
Chilli: 2
Oil: 5 ml
Salt: As per taste
Start by boiling the moong dal with a cup of water for whistles.
Heat the oil.
Add bay leaf and chillies. Fry the onions, then add the ginger-garlic paste.
Add the chopped spinach and cook for minutes.
Now add the boiled moong dal and cook for another - minutes till everything gets blended properly.
Serve hot with phulka/rice.
