Spinach: 100 gm
Chana dal: 100 gm
Tomato: 50 gm
Onion: 50 gm
Garlic: 4 to 5 clove
Oil: 10 ml
Salt: To taste
Turmeric: As required
Cumin: A pinch
Water: 250 ml
Wheat flour: 30 gm
Soya flour: 30 gm
Whey protein, unflavoured: 30 gm
Wash and soak chana dal for minutes.
Now drain the water from chana dal and transfer dal to a pressure cooker.
Add ml of water, salt, turmeric and pressure cook for to whistles. Let the pressure settle on its own.
Now take a wok and heat ml oil in it. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped garlic and onion. Stir and sautue it until the onion turns golden.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook till they turn mushy.
Next, add chopped spinach leaves and cook them until it leaves oil. At this stage add all spices.
Add cooked chana dal and combine it nicely. Let it simmer for - minutes. Adjust consistency as per choice.
In a mixing bowl take wheat flour, soya flour and whey protein.
Knead dough using some water.
Now divide the dough into equal balls and flatten it with a rolling pin.
Place the roti on a heated griddle. Flip it after a minute and cook on another side. Brush with oil and cook till it turns golden brown from both sides.
