Oats:80gms( i have used rolled oats)
Dal ( of your choice):40gms
Veggies of your choice: 200gms
Oil :4gms
Onions:75gms
Cumin seeds/mustard seeds /curry leaves/red chillies : As per taste
Water :160gms( just double the quantity of oats you take)
Ginger garlic paste : as per taste
Asafoetida /hing: as per taste
STEPS: . Heat cooker . Add oil . Add Cumin seeds/mustard seeds /curry leaves/red chillies/hing: As per taste . Let it splutter, fry well .Add chopped onions , salt and ginger garlic paste and fry well . Add mixed veggies and dal and fry well . Once veggies are soft enough . Add water gms and bring it to boil( if you want it Quick add hot water instead of room temperature water) . Add oats and mix well , if you feel water is less add little more , close the cooker lid and get - whistle . Your Oats khichdi is ready once pressure cooker cools down 😋 Note : This can be consumed twice I consumed it twice and it will make you feel full 🙂
