Oats bran - 100 gms
Himalayan salt - to taste
Hot water - as required for kneading
Wheat flour - 2/3 tablespoon
Ajwain or carrom seeds - 1/2 teaspoon optional
Ghee- Little for greasing
) Take oats bran and add it to salt and wheat flour. Wheat flour for binding the dough. Add ajwain seeds- optional. I haven’t used for mine. ) Take required amount of hot water for kneading and knead the dough medium soft. ) Make equal parts of the dough and start rolling chapatis by using wheat flour for dusting. ensure that the chapati/ roti doesn’t stick to the base. ) Grease the tawa with little ghee and put the roti on tawa. Cook from both sides till brown spots emerge. Oats bran roti is ready to be eaten hot with curries.
