1. Rohu fish ( 300 grams )
2. Tamarind ( 20 grams )
3. Masalas- red chilly, coriander, turmeric, salt
4. Coriander leaves
5. Oil ( 15 ML )
Marinate fish with salt and keep it aside for minutes.
Meanwhile boil water and soak tamarind in it for minutes.
Drain out salt from marinated fish and pan fry it in non stick pan in ML oil. Fry each side for minutes.
Once fish is pan fried keep it aside.
Heat a pan and use ML oil, add the soaked tamarind after removing its seed.
Add masalas such as red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt ( as per taste ) in it.
After two boils, add pan fried fish in it.
Add coriander leaves and cover the lid for minutes on low flame until you see oil on top of gravy.
Serve it hot with rice or chapati.
