Besan powder 50g
turmeric powder 1 pinch cumin powder 0.5spn garlic powder 1spoon (optional) idli dosa chilli powder 1spoon (optional)
green capsicum finely chopped 30g (optionally can add equally grated amount of louki or chopped cabbage)
coriander leaves finely chopped
red chili flakes 1 tsp
ginger grated 1 tsp
green chillies 1 no. finely chopped
egg whole 1 no. (or can add unflavored whey powder 0.5 scoop to make it more proteinaceous
hing powder a pinch (optional)
add required amount of salt, and add required amount of water to the flour mixture to make the dough to a flowing consistency similar to dosa batter.
oil or butter 5ml
To make batter: mix all listed ingredients in a bowl along with the required amount of salt and water and mix to a watery consistency similar to dosa batter.
To make chilas: Heat the tawa and keep in medium flame, smearing a little bit of butter or oil with a brush on the tawa before pouring batter, and make chilas with a spoon turning them to the other side.
This quantity makes approximately chilas and is suitable for a very filling breakfast or dinner especially when having less carbs in diet. the no. of eggs used can be increased to or based on requirement and the eggs can also be replaced with unflavored whey to make it more richer in proteins
