40 gm Barilla Durum Wheat Semolina Sphagetti Pasta
150 gm green, yellow, red bell pepper mix cut into small cubes or sliced
50 gm onion cut into small cubes or sliced.
1 spring onion/scallion. Whites and greens separated and chopped
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
2 gm Chings Dark Soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
10 gm olive oil
Boil noodles/sphagetti as per package instructions and drain the water. Wash under cold water and set aside.
In a deep non stick pan, add olive oil. Turn on the flame. Keep flame low. Add the garlic when the pan is still not hot. Saute the garlic in oil to infuse the flavour. Do not burn the garlic.
After a minute or so, add onion and white part of spring onions. Fry until translucent and soft. Then add bell peppers. Add a pinch of salt. Mix well. Cover and cook until soft. Stir intermittently. All the while cook on low to medium flame.
Once veggies are cooked as per taste, add the noodles/sphagetti. Add dark soy sauce on the noodles. Do not add soy sauce to the veggies. It will change the colour of the veggies. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Fry on high flame for a minute or so. Add the green part of spring onions. Tadaa veg noodles are ready!
