Quinoa: 70 gm

Urad dal gota: 25 gm
Methi seeds: 1/2 tsp
Salt: 1/2 tsp
Rinse the quinoa and rice under running water until the water turns clear and then soak quinoa and rice together in enough water overnight.
Similarly, rinse urad dal in running water long with methi seeds for a minimum of - hours.
After soaking drain water from both bowls and grind them separately i.e. rice and quinoa together with cold water, dal and methi seeds together using cold water.
Mix both the batters and add salt to them.
Now mix the batter for minutes with clean hands. This helps in fermentation.
The consistency of the batter should be free-flowing. Neither runny nor thick.
Now cover the pot with a lid and let it ferment in a warm place.
For making idlis grease idli plates with oil, fill batter into the plates and steam them for minutes.
Take out idli plates and let them cool completely. Then only take them out of plates.
Serve with chutney and sambhar.
