15 gm Tamarind
Sambar Powder / corriander powder/ Turmeric/ salt
Mustard seeds/ Jeera seeds/ Methi seeds

Soak tamarind in a little warm water in bowl.
Take a bowl/ pan place on low flame. Add in oil once hot add cumin, mustard, fenugreek seeds. Next goes in onions cubed, garlic whole pods( no need to chop) , curry leaves.
Let it fry once onions are soft add in bite size chopped okra add fry till all the stickiness goes away.
Next add tomato add spice powder ( tsp of sambar powder+ tsp of corriander powder or tsp red chilly powder + tsp of corriander powder)
Mix add water till the mixture gets covered now cook in medium flame till all the vegetables soften. (Takes about - mins)
Now add in tamarind water/ paste. Mix and cook till it thickens and you get the desired consistency.
Finally adjust salt and spice. Serve with steamed rice.
