Start by marinating the prawns in a bowl, combine ginger garlic paste, sliced onions, tomatoes, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, and oil. Mix everything well.
Once the prawns are marinated, heat a kadhai (deep cooking pan) on low heat. Add the marinated prawns to the kadhai and let them cook slowly in the low flame. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Cook the prawns until they turn opaque and are fully cooked through This should take about - minutes, depending on the size of the prawns lastly add coriander leaves. Once cooked, remove the prawn curry from heat and serve it hot with steamed rice .
