100g yellow mung dal washed and soaked
150g radish leaves
1 medium tomato
1-2 green chilies
Ginger small piece
Asofoetida 1/4 tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Salt 1tsp or to taste
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1tsp Lemon juice for garnish
10ml oil
1/2 tsp jeera
500ml water
Wash and chop radish leaves
Make paste of tomato, green chili and ginger
Heat a pressure cooker add oil, jeera and hing.
Add tomato paste, turmeric, red chili powder, salt and cook for a minute
Add radish leaves and cook for - minutes
Add mung dal and water and close the pressure cooker. Cook fir whistles or simmer on low for mins
Once cooked add lemon juice and serve with rice or roti/chapati
