Chicken Breast Diced - 100g
Tur Dal - 40g
Ghee - 10g
Onion Medium Size
Salt - As Per Taste
Turmeric Powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tbsp
Coriander Seeds - 1 tbsp
Black Pepper - 1 tbsp
Fennel Seeds - 1 tbsp
Kasuri Methi - 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Pressure cook tur dal by adding salt, / tbsp turmeric and times (ml) water.
Marinate diced chicken breast by seasoning it with salt as per taste, tbsp chilli powder, tbsp coriander powder, tbsp cumin powder, tbsp turmeric powder, tbsp garam masala, tbsp ginger garlic paste. (Add spices as per your taste)
Heating gm ghee in pan, add bay leaf, small cinnamon stick and medium size onion (diced). Fry untill golden brown.
Add marinated chicken and keep frying till it starts releasing ghee from the sides. Add little water to cook chicken.
(making of masala) Dry roast tbsp fennel seed, tbsp coriander seeds, tbsp kasuri methi, tbsp black pepper in a pan. Let it cool & grind it in mixer grinder & set it aside.
As soon as chicken is cooked, add cooked dal in chicken gravy. Also add masala that we prepared in step and cook it for -min. (Check tenderness of chicken)
As soon as chicken and dal is infused with each other add tbsp lemon juice and garnish it with coriander leaves.
