Poha 40 gm
Peanuts 15 gm, roasted and crushed
Cauliflower 30 gm, grated
Coriander Leaves, chopped 2 tbsp
Curd 10 gm
Cheese cube 1, cut into four small cubes
Red chilli powder 3/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds a pinch
Sesame 5 gm (optional)
Green chillies 2, minced
Curry leaves few
Oil 10 gm
In a deep bowl, mash together poha, curd, salt, peanut powder, cauliflower, red chilli powder, green chillies and coriander leaves.
Divide the dough into equal sized balls. Grease your palm with some oil and flatten the ball on your palm. Place a small cheese cube in the centre. Gather the edges and shape them into balls.
Steam the balls on high flame for five minutes. Remove them from steamer and allow them to cool.
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and sesame, let them splutter. Add green chillies and curry leaves.
Lower the flame and place the balls. Turn and tilt the pan till they get well coated with tempering and turn golden brown. Remove them on serving plate.
Serve hot with chutney.
