Milk, low fat: 150 gm
Bread: 50 gm (2 slices)
Ultimate nutrition whey protein: 1 scoop (32 grams - 30 grams protein)
Ground flaxseeds: 15 gm
Fruit of choice: 100 gm
Butter: 5 gm
Mix together milk, whey protein (flavour of your choice), ground flaxseeds in a bowl big enough to dip bread. Flax meal will act as a binder in this recipe and thicken the batter.
You can even add added flavours like ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, etc. as per your liking (depending on your whey protein flavour).
Dip the bread slices in the prepared mix and turn it to cover both sides.
On a hot non-stick pan or skillet, add a little butter and cook the bread from both sides. In case of any leftover batter, add it on top of the bread while cooking.
It will take around minutes on each side to cook the bread.
Serve hot with your choice of fruit.
Since whey protein and fruits both have a sweetness to them, you don't need extra, but if you like, you can drizzle a little maple syrup on top and adjust it in your macros.
