Toor Daal - 50 gms
Soya chunks flour - 40 gms
Wheat flour - 80 gms
Tomato - 100 gms
Oil - 8 gms
Spices - Kanda lasun masala, Turmeric, salt, cumin seeds, Mustard seeds, Curry leaves, Hing - all as per taste
Green chillies - 2
Garlic cloves - 8
Wash and soak daal in enough water for mins minimum
Knead soft dough with wheat Flour and soya chunks flour together while adding salt. Keep it aside to rest for minutes
Crush garlic cloves green chillies and cumin seeds together in mortar pestle
Cook daal in pressure cooker by adding tomatoes, salt, turmeric and water just inch above daal.
First cook it on high flame till pressure builds up it first whistle then lower the flame and cook for another - minutes
Once cooker cools down open the lid and mash the daal
Keep tha kadai on flame and add gms oil to it
Once hot add mustard seeds and let them splutter then add cumin seeds
Then add curry leaves and then hing
Add crushed garlic and chilli paste
Saute till it turns brown
Now add turmeric and Kanda lasun masala powder (If you don't have it you may add red chilli powder or just increase the qty of green chillies)
Add a little bit of water and let the masala cook untill the water evaporates
Add cooked and mashed daal to the kadai and enough water to have a running consistency ( I have added almost ml water plus the water used in cooking daal is also there) and bring it to boil
Now Roll out thin chapatis of the dough and cut them into small pieces square or kite as u like
Add the cut chapati pieces to Boiling daal
Cover and cook for - minutes or till the chapati pieces are cooked
Add chopped coriander
Once done cook uncovered for - minutes
Garnish with chopped coriander
