Bread slice
Chickpeas( kabuli chana/black chana)-20 g raw Soak overnight and pressure cook with salt till soft
Lemon juice - half lemon
Tahini paste / roasted sesame seeds -10 g
Garlic cloves-2-3
Green chilli-1 small ( optional )
Roasted jeera - half tsp (optional)
Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
Olive oil - 6g
Boiled egg or fried egg - half ( optional- can replace with paneer )
Toppings - Any raw or sautéd veggies of your choice
Seasoning of your choice black pepper ,Italian seasoning or Indian flavor like chat masala or dhania jeera powder,amchur etc (Any seasoning goes with it ,It’s up to your creativity )

For hummus- Pressure cook soaked chickpeas with salt , they should be nicely soft and well cooked
You can use readymade tahini paste Or you can grind roasted sesame seeds ( you can add water if you want to form sesame paste )
Then in same grinder add chickpeas with some water , you can use same water in which peas were boiled , garlic,chilli ( optional),roasted cummin powder( optional)
Grind it to smooth paste Then mix juice of half lemon, some olive oil ,grind to get nice fluffy,smooth dip like texture, add little cold water if it is thick
Adjust salt While serving, add olive oil on top and sprinkle chilli flakes Hummus is ready !!!
For toast- Toast one bread slice , nice crisp Then spread hummus on it
Then add any toppings you like I have used boiled egg and peppers Sprinkle seasoning of your choice
You can add one more slice with hummus spread to make a close sandwich!!! Enjoy !!!
