Toor Dal 40 grams
Vegetables (bottle gourd, brinjal, drum sticks) - 150 grams
1 small onion
1 small tomato
1 small spoon - Haldi
Sambar masala
4 to 5 curry leaves
8 grams butter/oil/ghee
Salt (as per taste)
Soak dal for - mins
Add dal, onion, tomato, water and Haldi in pressure cooker and cook it till - whistles
Cool down the cooker and add vegetables and cook again for whistle (as an option you can even boil the vegetables seperately)
Take pan add butter/oil/ghee, add jeera and rai. After is it cooked add curry leaves
Add sambar masala and mix it well
Add cooked dal from the cooker to the pan then add salt and mix it well
Bring sambar to boil
Enjoy the delicious sambar with rice/Idli as per your diet
