Ingredients: • 20 grams Jaggery (adjust to your sweetness preference) • 1/2 Lemon (for a single serving), or 2-3 for a large batch • Chilled Water • 5-6 Mint Leaves • Ice Cubes

Method

Step 1

Instructions (Single Serving): . Dissolve the Jaggery: In a glass, take - tablespoons of warm water (just enough to dissolve the jaggery). Add the jaggery and stir well until completely dissolved. Make sure no jaggery pieces remain. . Muddle the Mint (Optional): In the serving glass, gently muddle the mint leaves. This releases their flavor. Don’t muddle too hard, or they can become bitter. If you don’t have a muddler, you can gently crush them with the back of a spoon. . Add Lemon Juice: Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into the glass. . Combine and Stir: Add the dissolved jaggery water to the glass. Stir well to combine the lemon juice, mint essence, and jaggery. . Add Chilled Water and Ice: Fill the glass with chilled water, leaving room for ice. Add ice cubes to the glass. . Garnish (Optional): Garnish with a lemon slice or a sprig of mint. . Serve Immediately: Enjoy your refreshing and healthy summer drink!
