Paneer 50 gm - cut bite sized
Onion 20 gm - cut bite sized and separate the petals
Tomato 20 gm - cubed
Capsicum 50 gm- diced
Crushed Ginger and green chilies to taste
Ghee 5 gm
Besan 30 gm
Maida 10 gm
Potatoes shredded and soaked in water 50 gm
Coriander - finely chopped
Dahi/yogurt/curd 20 gm
Salt and pepper to taste
Kasoori methi 1 tsp crushed
Water
Turmeric
Baking powder 1 tsp
Kalonji/black jeera seeds 1 pinch (optional )
For Aloo besan waffle . Drain shredded potatoes and take out in a bowl. Add besan, maida, coriander, salt, pepper and turmeric(optional) and any other masala as desired ( remember: less is more)
Add / cup water in small increments (to prevent lumps) and mix well.Keep aside for mins.
After mins when ready to make waffles, add baking powder and mix well.
Spray some cal cooking spray into the waffle iron and pour over all the mixture around. Sprinkle kalonji on top (optional). Let cook for mins on high setting. Check at min and brown it as desired.
For Paneer-Bell pepper hash . In a hot iron skillet, throw ginger, chilies, onions and capsicum/bell peppers. Add ghee and mix everything well. Let cook for mins on high heat.
Add paneer and let everything cook for another mins. Keep turning the paneer and veggies.
Turn off the gas, and add tomatoes, salt, pepper and kasoori methi. Let cook for - min more.
Serve . Take out waffle on a plate . Top it with the paneer hash . Add yogurt on top or serve it on the side by mixing a little water( no need to add anything to dahi as everything else has enough salt)
