Frozen basa -300gms
Coconut oil-8gms
mustard seeds
red chili powder, salt and Fenugreek seeds or powder as per taste
shallots-2
curry leaves
Tamarind - as per taste
Ginger garlic paste -1tbsp
Cut the fish into cubes and keep aside
Next add coconut oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and onion....sautee well
next add ginger garlic paste as per taste and fry till done
Meaning take enough tamarind and soak it in warm water for sometime
Next add in Fenugreek powder or seeds, chilli powder, salt and fry for secs.....add /cup- cup water and let this reach a boiling point also add in the tamarind with water
Once it boils very well and has thickened a little add in the fish again wait till it boils and them turn down the flame to low, cook on low for - mins
After switching of the flame add in a little more coconut oil and curry leaves and serve only once it's cold
