30g chickpeas (soaked overnight and pressure-cooked) 2 garlic cloves
(1 tsp tahini) or (1 tbsp curd) or (1 tsp seasame seeds+ 10 gram olive oil) 1 tbsp lemon juice Salt to taste 1/4 tsp black pepper powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder
Cold Water/ ice cubes(as needed for consistency) cumin powder, red chili powder for garnish
Pressure cook the soaked chickpeas until soft, then let them cool.
In a blender, add boiled chickpeas, tahini, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper powder, cumin powder and salt.
Blend into a smooth paste, adding cold water/ ice cubes gradually to achieve the desired consistency.
Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle cumin powder and red chili powder on top.
Serve with falafel, pita bread, or as a dip for veggies.
