30gms White Vatana 5gms Besan Tumeric salt to taste 1tbsp Ragda Masala Ragda Masala ingredients 1 tbsp each Saunf Zeera Black pepper Red whole chillies whole corainder seeds
Presoak Vatana for few hours or overnight.
In pressure cooker, add vatana, besan , tumeric and and salt. pressure cooker for - whistles.
let the cooker cool down then check the consistency of vatana. it should be easily mashable. If not, take few more whistles.
Ragda Masala (versatile masala can be stored for a month in dry glass jar) Saute tbsp of following and grind into dry powder. Saunf Zeera Black pepper Red whole chillies whole corainder seeds some rock salt
Enjoy warm Ragda Masala with some kadak chai.
