Toor dal 40gms cabbage 100gms oil 5ml chili powder 1 tsp salt as per taste Curry leaves few garlic cloves 2 cumin 1tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp hing pinch turmeric powder 1/4 tsp tamarind pulp 1tsp
) in a pressure cooker add washed dal ) add sufficient water and add cabbage, turmeric powder ) cook for whistle and wait for pressure to release,then add red chili powder,salt and tamarind pulp ) now for Thadka ,in pan add oil once it's hot add cumin, mustard seeds &saute min ) add curry leaves,crushed garlic,hing and saute min ) add this to cooked dal ,mix & cook for mins ) serve with rice or chapati
