The Superman Hold targets the lower and upper back, shoulders, glutes, hamstrings, and abdominal muscles. Lie on the floor or on a mat with your face down. Keep the arms stretched in the front and your legs stretched at the back.
Inhale and simultaneously lift your hand, legs and chest off the floor
Hold the contraction for 2 seconds
Your abdomen should be firmly on the ground
Focus on your lower back and squeeze your glutes on the top of the contraction
Exhale and come back to the starting position
Repeat for the desired number of reps.
