The Smith Machine Seated Unilateral Overhead Press works the anterior deltoid, lateral deltoid, upper pectoralis major. Sit on the bench and unrack the smith bar with weights. Hold the bar in one hand by extending the arm in line with your shoulder, with your palm facing your head. The bar should be over the mid part of the head. Take a deep breath and unrack the bar.
Engage your core and lower the bar to the level of your front shoulder
Push it back up to the starting position and exhale
Repeat for the desired number of reps.
