Lie on your back on an incline bench. Unrack the smith bar with the weights and hold the bar in the extended position. Use a close grip, i.e keep the hands narrower than shoulder width. The bar should be in line of the eyes.
Take a deep breath, slightly arch your back before lowering the weight
Hold the breath and lower the bar towards the upper chest by bending your arms
Exhale and push the bar up to its starting position by extending the arms
Repeat for the desired number of reps.
