The Smith Machine Barbell Bench Press works your triceps, shoulders, and chest. Lie on your back on the bench. Unrack the smith bar with the weights and hold the bar in the overhand position at slightly wider than shoulder width stance. The bar should be in the line with your chest.
Take a deep breath, slightly arch your back before lowering the weight
Hold the breath and lower the bar towards the chest by bending your arms
Exhale and push the bar up to its starting position by extending the arms
Repeat for the desired number of reps.
