Dumbbell Step Ups work the quads, hamstrings, and glutes. Stand straight with a dumbbell in each hand and a stool or a bench in front of you.
Step up with the left foot, pressing through the heel to straighten your left leg
Bring the right foot to meet your left foot on top of the step
Bend your left knee and step back down with the right foot
Complete the required no of repetitions
Bring the left foot down to meet the right foot on the ground
Return to the starting position
Switch legs and repeat the movement.
