The Dumbbell Overhead Tricep Extension primarily works the long head of the triceps brachii. Sit on a stool or on a bench without back support. Keep your spine straight. Hold a dumbbell overhead using a double handed grip. Extend your arms and hold the dumbbell above your head by keeping your hands under the inner plate. Keep a slight bend in the arms
Inhale and lower the dumbbells towards the back of your head by bending your arms
Make sure your upper arms stay in place
Hold for a second
Exhale and push the dumbbell up to the starting position by extending your arms
Repeat for the desired number of reps.
