The main muscles involved in the Dumbbell Upright Row are the trapezius (traps), deltoids (delts), and the biceps. Stand straight with feet shoulder width apart. Grasp a dumbbell in one hand with overhand grip i.e. your palms should face the front of your thighs. Place your other hand behind your back.
Now, exhale and pull the dumbbell up to the front of your chest
Allow the wrist to flex and your arm to bend as you raise the dumbbell
Maintain the overhand position of your wrist
Inhale and lower the dumbbell to the starting position
Repeat with the other arm.
