The Cable One Arm Lateral Raise works the side deltoid muscles while working the anterior deltoid, as well as both the middle and lower traps. Stand with feet shoulder width apart. The machine should be at your left side. Grasp the stirrup cable attachment in the right hand from behind the body. Your arm should be extended downward with a slight bend.
Now, exhale and pull the cable upward and to the right side
Keep your arm extended but maintain a slight bend
Hold for a second
Inhale and bring the cable back to the starting position
Repeat for the desired number of reps.
