Ingredients

40gm - rice

Vegetables - Onion, peas, baby corn, beans, carrot, potato(50gm)

Ghee - 10gm

Method

Step 1

Chop veggies and keep it aside.

Step 2

Take pressure cooker and add ghee to it. Once heated , add jeera, star anise and bay leaf. Add onion, green chili and let it fry.

Step 3

Once the onions are little brown add all the veggies and stir fry. Add salt, coriander powder, cummin powder and red chilli powder. Give it a mix. Fry it for couple of minutes and then add washed rice.

Step 4

Mix it well. Add ml water (double the quantity of rice) and mix. Put the lid and let it whistle on medium flame twice.

Step 5

Tada! Veg Pulao is ready.
